I was attracted to the skin like presence of found foam sheets-they age and react to air, suggest a breath, vulnerability, and effervescence. I reacted to these affordances by puncturing, infiltrating, and hardening them - to think about skin disease, suppression and the muting of a porous quality through these soft sculptures that invite touch.
