Pneumatic (air that is mechanized and pressured) suggested a buildup of an internal monologue – proliferating, occupying space and yet beyond one’s grasp. The objects deal with elements being protected from similar elements in their surroundings – contained and at the risk of losing their identity on exposure. The caught up air- visually or literally is what interested me in these objects.
