‘Solidifying’ the swirling white mist and bringing it in conversation with the jutting architecture of the houses in the hills, this work reflected the architecture of the Ivy Lodge in Kasoli. To speak in the language of the space- the work was made entirely with discarded materials found on site and held itself together only by tension between two points of the bamboo and the stone walls, while some dangling bits moved with the breeze.
The site being a frequently visited corridor in the backyard o the house making the work prone to change. Visitors put the elements back in place when moved, finding newer points of tension with the material. The performative gesture of bodies navigating an interrupted corridor accentuated the precarity of the space and the absurd structures inhabiting it.
